After the revelation, their night continued with dinner and drinks.Both of them seems at ease after all the talking. They laughed at each other jokes and started to feel comfortable with each other. In the midst of their conversation, Hyun joong excuse himself to go to the public toilet not far from the tent.
“ Don’t be long okay! The last time you said you need to go to the toilet..I felt as if you had run away and never came back!” recalled Hwang Bo.
“No..I won’t do that..I promised!..Just wait ok!” assured Hyun Joong with a smile.
20 minutes later....
“ Sorry for taking so long...I had a stomach ache!” said Hyun Joong hoping that Hwang Bo was not mad at him.
“ That’s okay...I’m used to it now!” answered Hwang Bo
“Used to what?” asked Hyun joong curiously.
“ Well..I’m used to waiting! Especially for you!” said Hwang Bo implying that she knows him well enough not to doubt him.
Hyun Joong gave a meaningful smile after hearing that.
Outside the tent
The two of them thanked both the tent owners and made their way out from the tent and continued their conversation as they made their way to the car.
“Are you sure the ajumma n ajussi won’t say anything about us tonight?” asked Hwang Bo. She was worried if their date that night will become the front page news tomorrow. She’s worried about Hyun Joong’s image with his fans.
“I’m positive!They won’t say a word...they can’t...coz I know their nephew...if anything happens...I’m sure to let their nephew have a piece of my mind!” answered Hyun Joong.
“Huh??? What do you mean by that? Who’s their nephew anyway?” asked Hwang Bo further.She was curious and worried at the same time.
“Well...U know him too...technically!” smiled Hyun Joong
“Who?” asked Hwang Bo.
“My friend Inyoung! The one you talked to on the phone before our fake farewell..remember?” explained Hyun Joong
“Owhh...that friend!...” gigled Hwang Bo
Hyun Joong smiled when she heard Hwang Bo’s cute gigles.
“For an important night like tonight...of course I have to be extra careful and when I asked Inyoung about renting a tent..he recommended his aunt and uncle..so it was perfect! Besides..like I said earlier..they play a hard bargain! It was really expensive!” explained Hyun Joong
“Chincharo!!! Hahahaha....” Hwang Bo couldn’t keep her laughter any longer and let out a loud laugh while covering her mouth and holding her stomach. She was always amuse by Hyun joong’s unique way of thinking.
“ Anyway thank you for the treat! I will never forget this night..”said Hwang Bo
“ Come on...are you already tired from just a couple glass of soju?” asked Hyun joong
“Why do you say that?” asked Hwang Bo
“Well...it’s just that you sound like you want to call it a night? Do you?” asked Hyun Joong
“ Well I thought...since it’s already late...u would want to call it a night coz u might be busy tomorrow...”explained Hwang Bo
“ Nope not yet...there’s one more thing!” said Hyun Joong and grabbed Hwang Bo’s wrist and made their way to a nearby lake.
“Huh?” said confused Hwang Bo.
Hyun Joong lead the way while holding Hwang Bo’s wrist. Hwang Bo followed him with full of anticipation. They sure have not done this kind of thing for a long time. But the reality of being with him that night was already a dream come true. But she decided to act cool and play along to see what’s going to happen next.
They walked along a pathway that leads to a garden at the nearby lake...as they approach the garden...Hwang Bo could see dims of lights from a far. The lights seems to grow brighter as they came nearer towards the edge of the lake.
Hyun Joong stopped and turned around. As he faced Hwang Bo....he smiled and said...
“This is it! The highlight!...” said Hyun Joong with full of excitement.
“Now...please go to that tree and see what’s waiting for you there.” while pointing at a tree which was wrapped in bulbs of lights.
“Wow..Is it christmas already?” said Hwang bo whose face suddenly lit up upon seeing the tree.
“ Well...u can say it something like that!” answered Hyun Joong
“ Okay!” said Hwang Bo as she approached the tree taking slow steps...full of anticipation.
As she got closer to the tree..she could see a box placed under the tree. The box was like the size of a shoe box but was wrapped neatly with a white ribbon. Since the the light from the tree lit up the area around it..she could see the box was green in colour. She picked up the box and shaked it to try and figure out the content. As she was doing it..Hyun Joong approached her..
“ What are you trying to do? Just open it! “ stressed Hyun Joong
“ Just like that? What...no more songs? No more sincere events? “ said Hwang Bo jokingly who remembered the last time Hyun Joong did something like this was during her birthday in front of all the WGM staff.
“ Well..putting up the lights and timer just now has taken a lot of my energy. I think I’ll sing to you next time ok...” answered Hyun Joong.
“ Owhh...that’s why you took soo long just now!’ said Hwang Bo who finally able to figure out where Hyun Joong actually went for 20 minutes.
She was smiling ear to ear realising that Hyun Joong took so much effort to give her the present.
“ What could this be?” said Hwang Bo
“ Come on... just opened it!” urged Hyun Joong
“ Arasso” said Hwang Bo
As she slowly opened the box...she was suprised to see it was full of folded turtles.
“Hahahaha” she laughed so hard upon seeing the turtles.
“What’s this?” she asked
“Don’t you remember?” said Hyun Joong
“Remember what?” asked Hwang Bo
“Wah...you are surely getting old! It has only been over a year..” said Hyun Joong jokingly.
Hwang Bo hit him again at his elbow like she always does whenever Hyun joong make jokes like that.
“ Remember when I gave the crane for your birthday last year. It was a total of 1000 cranes. That means I’ll be good to you for 1000 days...and I do think I have done that in my own way...and even if there are still a lot of days to go...I just thought that I would give you 100 folded turtles now...and show you that, I’ll continue to be good to you even after the 1000 days are up. Because of my busy schedule..I’ll give you the other 900 later....” explained Hyun Joong.
“ Ermm...Hyun Joong ah...I don’t know what to say” said Hwang Bo in a crack voice and suddenly with tears in her eyes.She was touched by his sincerity and effort that night.
“ Thank you very much!” said Hwang Bo
“ You’re welcome!” smiled Hyun Joong
“ I’ll make you happy from now on...for real...no cameras...no staff and crew to follow us!...just you and me!” said Hyun Joong convincingly.
At that moment..both of them were in their own happy world. Even though Hwang Bo never expected it...She was really thankful that Hyun Joong finally confess his true feelings. She felt as if a burden has been lift up from her shoulder.
Technically she had not given him an answer since she was still scared of the consequences but nevertheless in her heart...she’s the happiest woman in the world.

Their expensive date continues...Part 2:
Hyun Joong just smiled. Somehow hearing those laughter was a good sign. Aahh…she likes it! he thought. Hyun Joong was actually worried about the whole thing. He had a hard time figuring out how he could take Hwang Bo on a dinner date but at the same time he can just relax and not feeling burdened by other people watching them. He was thinking of taking her to one of those high class restaurants as he could afford it now after getting a big pay check from his BOF stint. But that kind of places are surrounded by other celebrities and VIPs. It’s not a good place to not be spotted…he thought. He even thought of renting a yacht just like during their WGM honeymoon. But that could bring back a lot of painful memories at least to him for not able to catch any fish for his buin twice….
He needed a place where he can feel at ease and have a decent conversation with her and after careful thought, renting a tent like this was the best solution. He once mentioned during the first WGM episode that he wished he could asked Hwang Bo out for a drink so that they could get to know each other better. But there were no chance to do that because Hwang Bo was always leaving early after their recordings. He felt disappointed at that time but had never forgotten the idea completely. Since this sort of a reunion, he thought he could give it a try.
After the smile and short laugh,there were awkward silence again...some things never change thought Hwang Bo..
“Ya!Kim Hyun Joong...” she suddenly cried out.
“Don’t you have anything to say to me? Or at least explain to me why are we in a tent in a middle of nowhere and you suddenly jumped in front of me yesterday? You didn’t really give me a decent explanation for that you know!” continued Hwang Bo...who suddenly poured her thoughts in one shot!
Hyun joong just smiled and drank a shot of soju.
“Why are you smiling?Did I say something funny?” said Hwang Bo
“No you didn’t! I smiled because I really miss this! I miss your antics! I miss your husky voice everytime you’re mad or feeling discontent at me! And the fact that after all this time, you haven’t change a bit! Daghaenida!” uttered Hyun joong.
“What???..u miss all that???” expressed Hwang bo suprisingly.
Hyun Joong suprised her by saying that. She didn’t really think that he misses her that much.
“Why?” she continued...feeling curious about the whole thing.
“Just Because....” said Hyun joong
“Just Because of what?” asked Hwang Bo impatiently.
Hyun Joong was actually nervous. He had been taking shots after shots of soju to calm himself.He’s contemplating whether to say what’s in his mind or maybe just make up more excuses.
“Do I have to be here all night just to wait for you to give me the answers to my questions?” asked Hwang Bo who was already looking rather impatient.
“Only if you want to!” joke Hyun Joong.
“Okay...that’s it..I’m going home!” said Hwang Bo who suddenly felt uneasiness about the whole thing.
“Ya!Wait a second...are you mad at me?”asked Hyun Joong
“I’m not mad at you...it’s just that...I’m tired of waiting that’s all!” answered Hwang Bo.
“Okay...I’m sorry.I didn’t mean to put you in that position” said Hyun Joong
“It’s just that...what I’m about to say is not an easy thing for me to say. I’m a bit nervous!” said Hyun joong
“Nervous??? About What???” asked Hwang Bo who suddenly became more curious.
“Ok..here goes...I made a promise to my self...”said Hyun Joong
“A promise? A promise about what?” asked Hwang Bo
“Well..about you!”
“Me?..What kind of promise???”
“ I promise myself that I want to make you happy!”
“Make me happy?..I don’t understand..what do you mean by that?”
“I mean to say that the times we spent together on WGM was the happiest moments in my life..after we separated...I felt kinda empty.You changed my life forever!”
Hwang Bo was stunned to hear those words coming from Hyun Joong.She felt confused n amused at the same time.But rather LOL...she calmly asked..
“Hyun Joong ahh...you do realise that what we had on WGM was all make belief don’t you?”
“Nope..It was all real for me.I don’t know about you...but I was being myself and I was sincere!I didn’t want WGM to end but I understand we have to sacrifice so that we can go on with our lives.I wanted to say this then but I was too scared.Too scared because I know I don’t have the ability to say those things to you.I still needed to earn money so that when the right time comes and after I know I am financially dependable...I will be able to let you know that you are very important to me!”
Hwang Bo couldn’t believe what her ears was hearing. She was still not convince. Maybe these are the words coming from a drunkard man..she thought to herself..considering that he’s been drinking a lot since they got there. But again rather not putting him down, She asked...
“Kim Hyun Joong...I’m sorry to ask you this...but are you drunk?
“Why do you say that?” asked Hyun Joong.
“ Well..because that could be the only logical explanation for you to say those things!” replied Hwang Bo.
“You know I can handle my liquor very well...This is only my first bottle of Soju...I’m as just as sober as you are!” explained Hyun Joong.
“Is that so...” said Hwang Bo.
“Yup!” replied Hyun Joong
Hwang Bo stayed silent and started to play with her glass.She couldn’t meet his eyes let alone say anything to him.
“Why are you so quiet all of a sudden?” Did the cat got your tongue?” asked Hyun Joong
“Yes...I wished he did!” said Hwang Bo jokingly.
“Come on...say something!” urged Hyun Joong
“Well...I’m sorry..I don’t know what to say...this seems unreal!” replied Hwang Bo.
“Ermm..you know what...I have kept this to my self for a long time...I don’t think I can keep this any longer...what I did yesterday...I admit was unplanned. But after meeting you, I felt that..why wait...I should just tell you now.” Said Hyun joong
“But Hyun Joong ahh...you can’t afford to this now...after BOF...you are bigger than ever. Aren’t you afraid of losing your fame and success? Don’t you know what’s going to happen if anyone finds out we are meeting like this?” said Hwang Bo in a slow voice...afraid if the owners of the tent heard what they were talking about.
“Hwang Bo Hye Jung....if you have experienced what I had gone through...you know..being infected with swine flu and almost died...you don’t even care about others...you only think about yourself!” explained Hyun Joong.
Hwang Bo just smiled when she heard that. She’d always like Hyun Joong straight foward thinking.
“But still..I don’t know!”sigh Hwang Bo
“What is it that you don’t know?..You think too much! A woman your age shouldn’t do that!” said Hyun joong jokingly.
“Ya!” shouted Hwang Bo while smacking his elbow in a form of protest to what he said.
Hyun Joong quickly moved away his arm and giggled. She’s still the same...thought Hyun Joong
“Okay...then tell me this...after WGM ended, how did you feel? Your true feelings...I want to know..coz when we were at Halla San..I was the one who cried buckets and you seemed..well took things quite well...I have always wondered about that!”asked Hwang Bo
“Hahh..about that! Well all the things I said then was true..you changed my life completely and because of that I feel that you are too big of an asset for me to let go!” said Hyun Joong
“Oh...so now..I am just a thing thing to you...an asset?” said Hwang Bo in disbelief.
“No...that’s not what I meant! I meant that you are very special to me...I think about you all the time...not just 3 days before recording but all the time! I knew that saying goodbye to you on Halla San is not something I look foward to and that’s why I made that promise...a promise I kept to myself until now.” said Hyun Joong
“And now..after all the things that happened....I have decided to fulfill that promise!”added Hyun Joong
Hyun Joong tried his best to explained everything to Hwang Bo but he kept
some things to himself..at least for the time being. Things about how he kept
himself updated with all her news and watched all her tv appearance. He even got himself freelance spies who are willing to share news about her. He kept the fact about how Nicole of Kara called him to tell him about her accident and because of that decided to come back earlier than plan to Seoul and the most important of all was how DSP’s president had forbid him to keep in touch with her after realisng what an asset he had become after BOF.He feels it was not neccessary for him to say all that just yet.
“Chincharo!” said Hwang Bo.
She still couldn’t give Hyun Joong a straight answer for all his questions and revelations. Like Hyun Joong...Hwang Bo also have a secret. A secret only she knows and not ready to tell him. She kept the fact about how she misses him until now and have always pray for his success and well being. She also didn’t tell him how much she cried everytime he got into an accident or even worse when he was diagnosed with swine flu. She felt helpless because she couldn’t take care of him just like she’d promise she would during the WGM days.
No matter how truthful their conversation was that night..both still keep secrets between them because they feel it was not the time to talk about all that. They had just met after a long time even if it was for the second time. Since that night was better than the night before..both of them have a mutual understanding that things will just get better from then..at least that is what they hope for!

Their Expensive Date!!!-Part 1
Hwang Bo’s Apartment
Hwang Bo was looking at her watch. It was 7.10 pm…he’s going to be here in less than an hour….she thought. As she was getting ready for her dinner date with Hyun Joong…all the negative feelings seemed to run through her mind. She can’t believe that she’d actually going to do it. What if someone recognizes us…than it will be front page news tomorrow…she thought.
“Aahhh…I don’t know!” said Hwang Bo letting out a deep sigh.
She hated being in this situation. She knows she needed to see Hyun Joong but at the same time, she didn’t want him being involved in a scandal, not after what happened in Hong Kong. Even though she didn’t really know the whole truth, Hwang Bo believed that Hyun Joong must have had his own reasons. Besides, what ever happens after they parted ways was beyond their control. Both of them are adults and they are free to do whatever they want.
Hwang Bo took her hp and started to type a message:
“Hyun Joong…I don’t think we can go through with this. I’m sorry”
After sending the message, she felt an instant remorse but at the back of her head, she knew it was something she had to do.
After a few minutes…Hyun Joong replied:
“It’s too late….I’m already in front of your apartment! Come down now!!!”
Hwang Bo was surprised. It was only 7.20 pm. He’s early!...she said to herself. As she was contemplating with her thoughts and worries…another message came in…
“Please be quick! I think I’m turning into a popsicle!”
Hwang Bo felt guilty. She can’t back off now. She quickly got up and dressed and head down to the lobby. As she came out from her apartment complex, she was looking around for Hyun Joong but he was nowhere to be seen.
Once Hyun Joong saw her, he quickly drove his car towards her and pulled over next to her. He lowered the window and stuck his head and called her.
“Noona…come on! Get in!” said Hyun Joong.
Hwang Bo was suprised but quickly followed Hyun Joong’s instruction and got into his car. As the car slowly moved away from the complex, Hyun Joong opened his mouth…
“ Why did you want to cancel our dinner date?”
Hwang Bo who was all silence since getting into the car was not ready with an answer. She couldn’t tell him that she was afraid about the two of them being spotted and how it would be a disaster for Hyun Joong if it did.
“ YA! How come you came early? I thought you would come at 8pm…” said Hwang Bo as she was trying to avoid giving him a straight answer.
“ Well…let’s just say that I predicted that you would changed your mind and just to be on the safe side, I came early” answered Hyun Joong with a grin on his face.
Hyun Joong couldn’t tell Hwang Bo that he came as early as 6.00pm right after his appearance on Music Core. He didn’t dare to tell that he was so excited about their dinner date and had been waiting inside his car almost frozen to death. But once he got Hwang Bo’s message about her wanting to called it off, he quickly made his move.
“ Btw…you didn’t answer my question…why did you want to cancel?” said Hyun Joong.
“ Errmmm….”mulled Hwang Bo
“ What is it?” asked Hyun Joong with full of curiosity.
“Ermm..it’s just that…I was worried. What if the press finds out about the two of us meeting each other again. It would be bad publicity for you “ said Hwang Bo honestly.
“ Really?” smiled Hyun Joong.
“ Why are you smilling? Did I say something funny?” asked Hwang Bo
“ No..it’s just that…after all this time…you’re still concern about my image. I’m deeply touched!” answered Hyun Joong with a giggle.
Hwang Bo did not respond but she just glanced at him. How could he be so cool about it...thought Hwang Bo.
“ Where are you taking me? She asked.
“ You’ll see…” answered Hyun Joong.
Hwang Bo was full of anticipation and worried at the same time. He’d promised her that he would treat her to an expensive dinner. The last time they sat down and ate dinner together was during their last farewell.
They didn’t talk much in the car. Maybe because no matter what happened previously, they still couldn’t shake that awkward feeling off. There was no doubt that they were talking in their head but just not to themselves. They exchanged glances a few times but still no word was uttered.
After driving a while, Hyun Joong finally stopped the car and pulled over into a parking lot.
“ We’re here!” said Hyun Joong who was full of excitement.
Hwang Bo looked puzzled but she still made her way out from the car. She was looking around her surroundings. They were in a middle of a park somewhere outside the city. There were not many people around. But she trusted Hyun Joong. She knows him well enough to not let anything happen to her.
“Where are we?” asked Hwang Bo
“Just follow me!” said Hyun Joong.
Hyun Joong was leading the way and Hwang Bo was trailing behind him. It was sort of a reversal situation for them because it seemed that Hyun Joong was the general and giving instructions all the time whereas Hwang Bo was being a good soldier following all the general’s instructions. In a way, Hwang Bo felt relieved and happy to see this side of Hyun Joong.
They were walking towards the end of the park. From a distance, Hwang Bo could see a small tent. It was one of those kind where Hyun Joong likes to go to and drink Soju. She remembered him telling her all those stories about how he likes to go out and drink soju with friends all the time.
As they approached the tent, Hwang Bo got a feeling that they were not going to have an expensive dinner at an expensive restaurant but instead would spend their dinner at the tent. Hwang Bo was still not saying a word and just followed him from behind.
Hyun Joong stopped in front of the tent and pulled the cover to give way to Hwang Bo.
“Noona…please come in! said Hyun Joong
Hwang Bo just smiled and went inside the tent. Inside the tent was an ajumma and an ajussi busy preparing food. The were no customer inside the tent. Too bad…I guess business must be slow today..she thought to herself.
“Have a sit noona…” said Hyun Joong
“Okay…” answered Hwang Bo smiling
“Hyun Joong ahhh…I thought you were going to buy me an expensive dinner? Added Hwang Bo
Hyun Joong was smiling all the way and said “ This is really expensive! Do you know how much it cost me to rent the whole tent for tonight plus the food and service? Don’t look down on these people you know…they really play a hard bargain! Said Hyun Joong with a low voice as he was afraid the tent owner couple would hear him.
“ Chincharo!!!....Hahahah” laughed Hwang Bo hysterically at Hyun Joong’s answer. She didn’t imagine that this was the expensive dinner treat he had promised to give her. Nevertheless, it was really unique in its own way.
Hyun Joong just smiled. Somehow hearing those laughter was a good sign. Aahh…she likes it! he thought. Hyun Joong was actually worried about the whole thing. He had a hard time figuring out how he could take Hwang Bo on a dinner date but at the same time he can just relax and not feeling burdened by other people watching them. He was thinking of taking her to one of those high class restaurants as he could afford it now after getting a big pay check from his BOF stint. But that kind of places are surrounded by other celebrities and VIPs. It’s not a good place to not be spotted…he thought. He even thought of renting a yacht just like during their WGM honeymoon. But that could bring back a lot of painful memories at least to him for not able to catch any fish for his buin twice….
He needed a place where he can feel at ease and have a decent conversation with her and after careful thought, renting a tent like this was the best solution. He once mentioned during the first WGM episode that he wished he could asked Hwang Bo out for a drink so that they could get to know each other better. But there were no chance to do that because Hwang Bo was always leaving early after their recordings. He felt disappointed at that time but had never forgotten the idea completely. Since this sort of a reunion, he thought he could give it a try.
Hwang Bo was looking at her watch. It was 7.10 pm…he’s going to be here in less than an hour….she thought. As she was getting ready for her dinner date with Hyun Joong…all the negative feelings seemed to run through her mind. She can’t believe that she’d actually going to do it. What if someone recognizes us…than it will be front page news tomorrow…she thought.
“Aahhh…I don’t know!” said Hwang Bo letting out a deep sigh.
She hated being in this situation. She knows she needed to see Hyun Joong but at the same time, she didn’t want him being involved in a scandal, not after what happened in Hong Kong. Even though she didn’t really know the whole truth, Hwang Bo believed that Hyun Joong must have had his own reasons. Besides, what ever happens after they parted ways was beyond their control. Both of them are adults and they are free to do whatever they want.
Hwang Bo took her hp and started to type a message:
“Hyun Joong…I don’t think we can go through with this. I’m sorry”
After sending the message, she felt an instant remorse but at the back of her head, she knew it was something she had to do.
After a few minutes…Hyun Joong replied:
“It’s too late….I’m already in front of your apartment! Come down now!!!”
Hwang Bo was surprised. It was only 7.20 pm. He’s early!...she said to herself. As she was contemplating with her thoughts and worries…another message came in…
“Please be quick! I think I’m turning into a popsicle!”
Hwang Bo felt guilty. She can’t back off now. She quickly got up and dressed and head down to the lobby. As she came out from her apartment complex, she was looking around for Hyun Joong but he was nowhere to be seen.
Once Hyun Joong saw her, he quickly drove his car towards her and pulled over next to her. He lowered the window and stuck his head and called her.
“Noona…come on! Get in!” said Hyun Joong.
Hwang Bo was suprised but quickly followed Hyun Joong’s instruction and got into his car. As the car slowly moved away from the complex, Hyun Joong opened his mouth…
“ Why did you want to cancel our dinner date?”
Hwang Bo who was all silence since getting into the car was not ready with an answer. She couldn’t tell him that she was afraid about the two of them being spotted and how it would be a disaster for Hyun Joong if it did.
“ YA! How come you came early? I thought you would come at 8pm…” said Hwang Bo as she was trying to avoid giving him a straight answer.
“ Well…let’s just say that I predicted that you would changed your mind and just to be on the safe side, I came early” answered Hyun Joong with a grin on his face.

Hwang Bo’s Apartment
Hwang Bo was sitting at a corner of her living room with her favorite book in hand. She was free for the day since she had a long schedule yesterday. It was a day full of excitement, laughter and most importantly an unforgettable one. She smiled happily whenever she thinks about what happened when she finally saw Hyun Joong face to face after a long time. Watching him on television or merely listening to him on the radio was not enough to fill the hole in her heart. Somehow she felt happiness again. All the memories of spending time together during WGM suddenly came back.
At Sukira Radio Show
Hyun Joong and the rest of SS501 were guest on the SUKIRA Radio Show that day. He was still not feeling well since he did not get enough rest after the dream team recording. The day before was somewhat surreal. He didn’t really think that he could get enough courage to go and meet Hwang Bo. Nevertheless he regretted the fact that he didn’t really gather enough strength to actually open up about his true feelings.
“ Hyun Joong-ssi….are u okay? You seemed to be somewhere else…” said Lee Teuk
“ Owh…is it?..I’m ok…sorry..Shall we begin?” answered Hyun Joong
“ Yes…Let’s begin!” continued Lee Teuk
Hyun Joong’s mind was not at the radio show…even though he answered all the questions and participated actively, his mind was still thinking about his encounter with Hwang Bo.
After the radio show ended, all five members were posing for the cameras and the fans that were there to root for them. It was a tiring day especially for Hyun Joong.
In the van
“Hyun Joongie!..are you really okay? You don’t look so well” asked Jung Min
“Huh…I’m ok..jz a little bit tired!” answered Hyun Joong
“Btw…where did u go the whole day yesterday? Kyu Jong told me about what happen. That you are coming with us instead to the strong heart recording next week. Are you ok with that?” Jung Min added.
“What do you mean? Where did I go?...”answered Hyun Joong uneasily. He was afraid that Jung Min might have figured out about him meeting Hwang Bo secretly the day before.
“ I came back around 10 last night and you were not home…I wanted to asked you about it this morning but you seemed unwell and besides, we were rushing to get to the radio station…” said Jung Min
Hyun Joong wasn’t sure how to respond. He knows that Jung Min is someone he can trust but at the same time he wasn’t sure if he should tell the truth..at least not yet…without much hesitation he bluntly said “Oh…well I was out with a friend of mine..we bumped into each other at the dance studio…I haven’t seen him for a long time so we went out for a drink”
“Oh really! ” replied Jung Min
Hyun Joong felt guilty about having to lie to his members but he knew that he should keep the secret at least for now so that he can plan his next move.
Once at home, Hyun Joong went straight to his bedroom and landed himself on the bed.It was a tiring day but his mind was thinking about something else. He took out his phone and started to type a message…
“ Hi noona! SSory and Thank you for yesterday!”
It was a brief message but it meant a lot. He sent the message because it was important for him to be the first one to send it. After they exchanged their new numbers, both seemed determine to send the first message but after checking his phone the whole day for Hwang Bo’s message, he was sad because there was none. He felt worried. Maybe she was mad at me…he thought to himself…but she seemed alright when we parted ways…all sorts of things were on his mind. At the same time, Hyun Joong was happy because it meant that he could send the first message…just like what he did during WGM on her birthday.
After a while..his phone received a reply…he quickly grabbed it and read the message…
“Why do you need to say sorry? We had fun didn’t we?”
Hyun Joong was smilling when he read the message…ahhh..she’s not mad at me..he thought! He quickly typed another message…
“ It’s just that I thought you were mad at me..I guess you are not! ^_^”
Before a reply came…Hyun Joong typed another message…
“Wanna do it again?”
Hyun Joong was full of anticipation after sending the message. He felt this was his chance since she’s in a good mood..so he thought. After a while, there was still no reply from Hwang Bo…Hyun Joong wanted to send out another message but he didn’t want to be seen as desperate or anything like that. 30 minutes later, a message came through…
“YA!...are you on a roll or something? A meeting after another….”
His face changed after reading it…it was not as he expected but he understood Hwang Bo’s reaction. This must have been a shock to her. A sudden interest of meeting again and again. But what could he do…there’s a lot of things to say with so little time. Without giving up, he sent her another message…
“ I want to have a proper meeting…I promise I will not jump out from behind any walls or pillars this time…let me treat u dinner? I just got paid for BOF! ^_^
Hwang Bo laughed when she read his latest message…She was not sure about the whole idea. Hyun Joong is a famous idol, if the press or fans found out about her meeting Hyun Joong, it will be a disaster. Suddenly a flow of negative thoughts came into her mind but she couldn’t lie to herself…It was nice seeing him again.She was happy but shy to really express her happiness. Nevertheless, if that was his wishes, she could not refuse.
“ Okay…I’ll let u treat me dinner…but that’s just because I’m going to order the most expensive dinner with your big pay check…Is that a deal?” replied Hwang Bo
“It’s a deal!!!!..Tomorrow 8 pm…I’ll pick u up!”
Hyun Joong was smiling ear to ear when Hwang Bo agreed to meet him. This is my chance…he thought. A chance to clear some things between them. With all the excitement that night…Hyun Joong fell asleep while holding his handphone.

That day,He had a recording for KBS “Happy Together” with Kyu Jong, but that was not the reason for being early…He felt like a little kid on his first day of school…full of anticipation and excitement. He couldn’t wait for night time. Since there are only two events that day…he didn’t feel any burden at all.

Hyun Joong and Kyu Jong were enjoying their time at the studio. They laughed and laughed and he even did his famous Andre Kim impersonation. The MC’s were impressed. So was the rest of the guest.
During one of the Q & A, Hyun Joong was asked about his feelings dating older women…Hyun Joong was cool enough to say that he’s okay with the idea…and when asked how much older…he was thinking about Hwang Bo…her being 6 years older than him but because the lady that was mentioned was older…he bluntly said 14 years would still be okay. The MC’s were shocked to hear that from him but they knew he had said before during the WGM days that being married to Hwang Bo has totally changed his view on marrying older women.
Hyun Joong was really happy that day; it seemed that announcing to the world about dating older women was the first step. He wanted people to understand him better. As he was coming out from the studio…he saw many fans were waiting for them and because he was such in a good mood that day, he decided to be friendlier and managed to utter a few words to them. With A Strong Heart...continues...
Hwang Bo couldn’t really believe that Hyun Joong was sitting beside her and were now having a conversation with him.
“ Hahaha….” Hwang Bo suddenly let out a big laugh.
“What is so funny?” asked Hyun Joong with a smile. He suddenly remembered Hwang Bo signature laugh. She was always laughing to all his little antics and never questioned them.
“Nothing…It feels like dejavu. Me driving and you ducking…hahahha” said Hwang Bo recalling her story about driving her uncle’s car which she told earlier on Strong Heart.
“What was it about?” asked Hyun Joong

“I thought I’ve told you before when we were at Mount Halla last year…being married to you has changed me a lot!..I’ve became a braver man” replied Hyun Joong who kept a straight face when uttering those words.
“Why do you say things like that? said Hwang Bo.
“Things like what? replied Hyun Joong and acting as if it was a natural thing to say.
“You know what…never mind. I guess you have your own reasons” said Hwang Bo who sounded disappointed.
Hyun Joong was still lost for words. He had so much to say to her but the words couldn’t seem to come out.
“I missed you!’ Hyun Joong thought to himself. If only he could say it out loud. It would have been so much easier rather than being awkward at that moment…he thought.
He felt guilty to have pulled a stunt like this but at the same time; he didn’t want to waste the opportunity to be close to her. He then suddenly asked“ How are you noona?”
“Me? Is that the only thing you want to asked me?” said Hwang Bo
“Yes..” replied Hyun Joong
“Can’t you just asked me that over the phone or something? Rather than surprised me like this” asked Hwang Bo
“Huh…” replied Hyun Joong
“Is it wrong for me to come and see you and asked how you are doing?” continued Hyun Joong
“Well…of course not! But you don’t have time to do all this kind of things do you” said Hwang Bo who was still trying to get a decent explanation from Hyun Joong.
“Well of course not…but you’re an exception!” said Hyun Joong who let out a smile.
“I am?...why?..asked Hwang Bo with a little bit of curiousity.
“Just because….ernmm…” said Hyun Joong
“Yes…Just because?” asked Hwang Bo further...
“Just because…you were married to me once!” explained Hyun Joong with full conviction.
“Chincha!” laughed Hwang Bo upon hearing the words uttered form his mouth.
Hyun Joong smiled and stole a glanced at Hwang Bo. She’s more beautiful than ever. His heart pounded heavily to the extent he could hear his own heartbeat. How could I have become like this, he thought. She’s beside me but she’s still far away. He continued thinking.
Hyun Joong and Hwang Bo spend nearly an hour talking. Most of the conversation was about their work. It may have been a little bit awkward at first but slowly and steadily they became comfortable again with each other. Just like the old days. Hyun Joong continued with his unique thoughts and choices of words and Hwang Bo laughing at every little thing he said. Both of them never imagined they were going to see each other that day but inside their heart they knew that it was something they are thankful for.

A New Venture...writing Fan Fic
Salam n Anyeonghaseayo!
I can't believe it has been exactly a month since my last post...Well as I mention in my list of interest this year...one of it is my love for JoongBo @ Ssangchu Couple of Kim Hyun Joong and HwangBo Hye Jung...through them I got to meet new friends and found new interests as well. One of them is reading Fan Fic. Since there's no new concrete news linking them together, JoongBoers let our imaginations go wild by writing fan fic. Some are so real like and some are purely fiction. Well I guess that's why they are called fan fics. After reading so many of them, plus with the encouragements from fellow JoongBoers(U know who u are!heheheh), I decided to give it a try. Now, I would like to share it here since we are coming to the end of 2009 and as u can check, I like to end my year with a bang!(Being that I often update my blog either early or end of the year..hehehe) So here goes:
This FF is actually my take on why HJ was missing on the original day of Strong Heart with HB.Although it was reported that he couldn’t make it because he was not well, I tried to imagine what really happened that day. I may have to give u guys a warning…some details in this FF may not be accurate as I couldn’t really concentrate on the details and also forgive me if there’s any grammatical error since I did not do any proof read. So here goes!
With A Strong Heart
His body aches all over after spending the whole day yesterday recording for the upcoming Dream Team episode which he volunteered to join. The last time he felt a rush to succeed in a show like this was during the Family Outing show but to him yesterday was more challenging. He could barely wake up this morning but he knew that he had a schedule to follow and will continue being this way until all the promotions is done with their mini album.
“Arrgghhhhh”..Stretching his hand while forcing himself to get up from bed.
“Hyun Joong aahhh…Come on…pali..pali” the van is downstairs…and we better be quick” said Young Seng.
“ Wae?” asked hyun joong while staring at the floor and his eyes barely opens.
“We’re very busy today…we have a recording for strong heart at 10.00 am…and it’s already 8.30 am…” explained young seng.
“Haah..there’s plenty of time…jz let me lie down for 10 more minutes”..said hyun joong
“Andui!!..We still have to grab some breakfast first..go and get ready! We’ll wait for you outside”…said Young Seng
“Hyung…come on” said Kyu jong while peeking his head into Hyun Joong’s room…
Hyun Joong struggle to get up…he felt like he was carrying a huge stone on his back but thinking about not disappointing his dongsaengs…he tried to get ready as fast as he could.
In the Van
“That was a quick meal!” said Hyun Joong
“Of corz!..we don’t have much time…the show will start in 20 minutes time…n jz hope the traffic will be smooth” their manager explained briefly…he then continued giving briefing to them.
Hyun Joong was looking outside the window all the time…he seemed lost in his own world. It was as if he was thinking about something very intensely or maybe his brain just got tired along with his body. As the van was slowly approaching the SBS studio...he was deep in his thoughts when suddenly his eyes saw something or to be more precise someone who looked very familiar.
“We’re here” said the manager.
Hyun Joong just sat there n couldn’t take his eyesight from the familiar face. It was the face he knew so well. A face that he hasn’t seen in over 9 months…the last time they met was on the street and that too was a brief encounter. He regretted for not able to talk for a longer period of time since both of them were in a hurry.
Kyu Jong looked at Hyun Joong with a puzzled face “Hyung! Are u okay? What are you looking at?”
“Huh? I’m okay..Let’s go!” said Hyun Joong while acting as if he didn’t see anything.
As he was making his way out of the van..all of a sudden he was stopped by his manager…
“Mianhe Hyun Joong ahh…I think we did a mix up with the schedule. You’re supposed to come on this show with HyungJun and Jungmin.They’re going to be here for recording next week. So I think we should just go” said the manager.
“But hyung…I’m already here!..Can’t I just join them today? Said hyun joong
“No…the president jz called me and told me it’s better for you to come back for the next show. He knows that you are tired…. so his giving you time to rest” the manager said with much persistent.
Hyun Joong knew the reason why his manager suddenly changed his schedule has got something to do with the person he just saw. But he couldn’t object. He knew he has to follow the wishes of his company. He was being rational about it…since he does feel a bit under the weather plus super tired from the dream team shoot. Nevertheless, he was prepared to do Strong Heart if he were asked to. He felt powerless at that time.
As the van left the SBS compound, Hyun Joong starred outside the window with a heavy heart. At the back of his mind, he felt the reason why his company did not want him to be on that show was because they knew how Hyun Joong felt about her…yes her…Hwangbo Hye Jung. His so called wife from last year’s high rated reality shows WGM. He has always stated that whatever was said and done during the show was exactly his real feelings. It was a life changing experience that totally saved his life and his career. Hwang Bo was someone he was so thankful for. He knew, even though it was just a show but having given the opportunity to be closed to someone like her was destiny. A lot of people come and go in his life and each and everyone has a role to play. That has always been his believes.
“Hyung..Can you just drop me by the studio”.. hyun joong abruptly said to the manager.
“Wae? I thought u were tired…why don’t I just send you straight home so you can rest for the day” replied his manager.
“I think I want to practice my dance for a bit since I have the time” Hyun Joong explained.
“Arasso…if that’s what you want” said the manager.
The van went straight to the dance studio which was not that far from the SBS studio.

Hyun Joong didn’t want to waste his time so he felt he should practice his dance a bit for the upcoming concert. There were only him and the dancers at the studio. Jung Min and Hyung Jun had their own schedule that day. He practiced for a bit then stopped to rest. As he was resting, he picked up his phone and sms Kyu Jong who was doing the recording for the show.
SMS:
“Kyu Jong ahh…how’s the recording so far? Any interesting story”
After a while, Kyu Jong replied..
“It’s great..I just heard a funny story from Hwang Bo noona!..You should have been here...Your Buin is really funny! ^^ “
Hyun Joong felt sad when he read Kyu Jong’s message. In his heart he really wanted to be there especially when he knew she was going to be there too but there’s nothing he could do. He felt powerless again.
Hyun Joong continued practicing his dance routine for another couple of hours. He decided to stop for the day. Since the manager had left a long time ago, he took a cab. In just five minutes he was in the cab and on his way home.
In the cab
He looked at his watch and suddenly said to the cab driver
“Ajussi…can u turn around and go to the SBS studio”
He suddenly felt an urge to go and see Hwang Bo at the studio as he knew they were going to finish with their recording soon. He felt this was his moment because after looking at her face today, he knew that he missed her a lot. They have not even contacted each other since the WGM days. He was very busy with the drama and also with the SS501 mini album. She was pretty busy too with all her work as well.
A lot of things were in Hyun Joong’s mind.
“Will she be happy to see me?”
“Would she be surprise to see me?”
“Aah..I don’t know!!! But what I do know is that I need to see her today and by hook or by crook, I will do it!”
As the cab slowly approaching the studio, Hyun Joong saw a group of people outside the studio. They all looked familiar.
“Aahh they have finished!” he said to himself.
“Ajussi, just drop me here. Kamsahamnida!”
He paid the driver and quickly got out from the cab. Hyun Joong was walking rather fast wearing a sport’s winter jacket and a cap. He felt somehow people wouldn’t recognize him if he was careful enough not to get spotted. He made his way to the parking lot and decided to wait for Hwang Bo there.
At the parking lot
After 10 minutes of waiting, he saw a familiar face walking towards where he was standing but he was pretty sure that Hwang Bo could not see him as he was hiding behind a pillar. As soon as she was close enough to him, he jumped in front of her and said…
“Anyeong Noona!” while waving to her and smiling as if it was a normal thing to do.
“Aaahhhhh!..Omo” shouted Hwang Bo feeling scared when she saw a man surprised her like that.
Without hesitation she asked…. “Hyun Joong..is that you?”
“Yes it’s me!” he smiled and took his hood off.” Were you scared?”
“Of course I was scared!” she said while giving him a few blows on his arm.
“You could have been some maniac and I would have taken you down with one strike” explained Hwang Bo since she does have a black belt in Taekwando.
“Hahahah..mianhe. I didn’t mean to scare you like that!” said Hyun Joong.
“What are you doing here? Asked Hwang Bo
“Me?..ermm nothing..just come by to see you” replied Hyun Joong
Hwang Bo was really surprised to see Hyun Joong in front of her that moment. She was more surprised at how he approached her. A part of her was happy and another part of her was scared. She could’ve easily beaten him up. But her instinct told her that the man who jumped in front of her was somebody she knew. Somebody she had really wanted to see.

Hwang Bo was sitting in front of her laptop when suddenly she received a call from the Strong Heart PD. “We would love for you to come on our show” said the PD “Who else are going to be there for this episode?” asked Hwang Bo “Well other than the usual guest we have also invited Andy, Alex and also the SS501 boys” answered the PD Hwang Bo was really surprised to hear the names mentioned as she knew it’s going to be some kind of reunion for her and the boys but more importantly, a reunion with Hyun Joong. They have never been in a variety show together after WGM. It’s not like she wasn’t offered before but she was busy and so was Hyun Joong. She also felt reluctant as she did not know how he would react. So many things was said and expressed during their 6 months together. She knew things would change between them as Hyun Joong was destined for bigger things in life. She always felt that she was an obstacle since he had to divide his time between BOF and continued being with her in WGM. She gave a really hard thought to the idea of seeing and talking to him again. The last time they met was in March and that was really a brief encounter since she was driving off somewhere when Hyun Joong said Hi to her. “Yoboseoyo! Hwang Bo-ssi…are you still there?” wondering the PD since there was no answer from Hwang Bo “Yes..I’m still here!” replied Hwang Bo “So..what’s your answer? Can u join us? Asked the PD again After thinking about it again, Hwang Bo finally made a decision. “Okay..I’ll be in the show!” said Hwang Bo while thinking that even though she couldn’t guess how things will turn out but she’s willing to try because being a matured lady and after going through so much in her life,being together again with Hyun Joong on Strong Heart is really a small matter. On the day of recording “Ok everyone..please take your seat. We’re going to start in 5 minutes” shouted the PD informing all the stars present that day. Hwang Bo eyes wondered around to see who were the other stars present that day but she particularly was anxious to see if Hyun Joong was there as well. She saw three empty seats on her left and assumes it’s for the SS501 boys. But she was puzzled to why there were only 3 seats. Her eyes glanced to the empty seats and saw only three names. But most importantly Hyun Joong’s name was there as well. “He’s really going to be here” she thought to herself. “The SS501 members Heo Young Seng and Kim Kyu Jong will be here a little bit later. So let’s start with the show” said the PD and gave the signal to the MCs to start the show. Hwang Bo was wondering why Hyun Joong’s name was not mentioned. “Did something happen to him? or maybe he doesn’t want to be in the same show with me..” She thought. All sorts of speculations came into her mind but she didn’t want to think about it and enjoyed her time there. Present Day-At the parking lot “We can’t be standing here like this…someone might see you!” said Hwang Bo. She was afraid that people would see her and Hyun Joong together there. “Come let’s get in my car and go somewhere else” suggested Hwang Bo. “Ermm…Okay…let’s go!” agreed Hyun Joong. Both of them got into Hwang Bo’s car and drove away from the SBS studio. “Hyun Joong ahh…why don’t you put your head down so that people wouldn’t see you..at least until we get out from this area” said Hwang Bo. She was being protective of Hyun Joong as she knows Hyun joong is an A list star now. He doesn’t need any scandal especially when he and the rest of SS501 boys are busy promoting their latest album. She drove away from the SBS studio while Hyun Joong was ducking his head in order not to get spotted. “Noona…is it okay now?” asked Hyun Joong “No..not yet!” replied Hwang Bo…”I’ll let u know once the coast is clear!” she continued “Arasso…” said Hyun Joong and let out a huge sigh. This is not what he intended to do when he decided to see her that day but if this is what it takes in order to have a decent conversation with Hwang Bo, then so be it..he said to himself. After driving for about 20 minutes, Hwang Bo stopped her car somewhere she thought was safe enough for them not to be seen. She looked on the passenger side of her car where Hyun Joong was seated and found that Hyun Joong was sleeping. “Ahhh…some things never changed!” she said to herself and remembered the WGM days when Hyun Joong was always sleeping if it was her turn to drive. She smiled and said “Poor Hyun Joong, he must be very2 tired!” while looking at him affectionately. Suddenly Hyun Joong woke up from his nap… “Arrggh…Where are we?” said Hyun Joong while stretching his hands and neck “We’re somewhere safe” replied Hwang Bo “Really!...That’s good.” Said Hyun Joong. Both of them suddenly became quiet.Hwang Bo didn’t say anything to Hyun Joong at that moment as she was still contemplating to their current situation and how they end up being there. It was really an ackward moment. Something that they are really used too. “I…” both of them said simultaneously while trying to break the silence and start a conversation. “Heheheh…you first!” said Hyun Joong “No…You first!” replied Hwang Bo “Ermm…..” mulled Hyun Joong “ You know what…this is very funny. Just now you jumped in front of me and scared me half to death and now you have nothing to say!” said Hwang Bo trying to show her disbelief. “and Yaa..btw..what do you mean you’re here just to see me? Kyu Jong told me that you were not well and that’s why you didn’t come for the recording just now” said Hwang Bo “Hahhh…You did wondered about me!” said Hyun Joong with a smile on his face thinking that Hwang Bo still cares about his well being. “ Well no…It’s just that I saw your name labeled on the chair but you were a no show…I thought you might be busy with something else and back out from attending at the last minute” Hwang Bo trying to justify her statements earlier. “Owh..is it really!” said Hyun Joong with a smirk on his face. Hyun Joong was happy to know that Hwang Bo was curious enough to ask Kyu jong about him. But he didn’t want to tell her the reason why he was not at the recording. It was complicated. He didn’t want her to worry or to be more precise, he didn’t want her to know how he truly feels and the effect she has on him after WGM. Of course what was said on Mount Halla was unforgettable but both of them agreed to go on with their lives and just be happy. After their depature from the show and after going through so many challenges this year, he realized that being happy without her is a subjective matter. | ||||

I can't believe that for the whole of 2009..I only posted twice...heheheh...well that's just how things go sometimes...it's already 2.30 am...I just want to update on a few things about myself before getting deeper on the issues at hand...

Finally it's coming to town...ermm I think this is echo's first movie shown on Malaysia's big screen..It did great last year when it won 10 awards during the MFFA 2008..I know echo was pretty dissapointed that he didn't win the Best Actor Award pero that's ok...work harder n u will definately get what u want in the future...it's coming..don't worry echo :D.and as Kish told me the other day...when they had the PREMIERE for the press and the FILIPINO Embassy last thursday..they gave a good respond...n at last...KISH watched echo's movie...hahahah...good for u!That's what frens are for rite?:D

KAHIT ISANG SAGLIT@A TIME FOR US
AS promised...I am going to share with everyone my latest craze...KIS(Kahit Isang Saglit)...it all started last year...as you can see from my earlier post...I gave u guys a glimpse of who the leads were...It's Jericho Rosales and Carmen Soo...well..the shoot took them 6 months ( an unforgetable 6 months) that covers bits and pieces of Malaysia(KL,Melaka,Langkawi,Cameron Highlands,Port Dickson and many more) and the Phillippines...the start of the shoot saw the beginning and ending of a contraversy(more of a blessing in disguise) for echo who was challenged by the break-up of him and his ex-gf...to make it worse...the innocent Miss Carmen Soo was drag in as well by being named as one of the people behind the break-up...it was not true at all and as time flies...it was a big lie after all.Later in the middle of production..the KIS production lost its director..Manong Gilbert Perez( a legend) after suffering a heart attack..this was for me a blessing in disguised as iwell coz n my opinion..the whole production team became closer after has suffered many challenges and tragedies.The direction was later taken over by Direk Jerry Lopez Sineneng(also a master).
Being a Pinoy-Malaysian production..the whole production and marketing was conquered by the pinoy team mainly because it was written and directed and was first shown in Pinas.As some of you may know...promotions done in Pinas are very different from what Malaysia has used to see...there...the whole leading cast will appear in as many variety shows and talk shows as possible to promote the drama...Echo n Carmen even had to sing songs to arouse the audience mood in order to get them to join the KIS ride....and what a ride it was!!!!
When KIS was first aired in Pinas on September 15th 2008...I was one of the few Malaysians who were catching the drama via online streaming...and if the broadband line or coverage was bad..we continued on you tube as there were a few people who were kind enough to upload it on the same day...it was a daunting task...as there were times when we had to wait up to 3 or 4 o'clock in the morning jz to catch a clearer version of the nite's episode...and some even ended sleeping in front of the laptop!heheheh...What can I say...it was unforgettable moments in our lives as we were so overwhelmed with the impact KIS brought to us.Because of that we named ourselves Malaysian KiSsers...why Malaysian?because there a lot more KISsers out there...mainly being Pinoy KiSsers...American KiSsers...Middle Eastern KISsers or better still...when we interact with each other...we like to call ourselves...Global KISsers...the list goes on and on....the impact was huge...and the most proud of all is the warm acceptance that Carmen Soo got from all of them including us...Malaysians.
Carmen Soo was soooo fantastic in the story!She mesmerized us with her ability to act as well as delivering her lines promptly even if she couldn't understand what her other co-actors was saying as the story was in 3 languages...Tagalog,English and Bahasa Malaysia.she was soo refreshing and truly made Malaysia proud by being a good ambassador in a foreign country.Being herself and truly a professional shows that she can give a lot more when given a chance.
Echo..well..is echo...he's truly a professional and made a great comeback tru this soap!He showed and proved that he's a great actor.

Ermm..where was I...Oh yeahh...Echo..Jericho Rosales...what can I say about him...he's the reason I'm sooo into Pinoy soaps anyway...he has this aura that always give me kinda a warm feeling everytime I watch him act or hear him sing...meeting him a few times still can't shake that feeling...all my encounters with him felt like meeting him for the first time...it's always special :D...don't get me wrong...it's not a crush...I'm a happily married woman...it's more of an amazement...amazed to what he did n what he can do...being Rocky again this time in KIS was always something to look forward to...When my friends and I met Carmen...echo was our main topic of conversation...she shared a few stories with us about echo and in return we shared our stories about him with her....and when she asked where were we when echo laid low from the tv scene and focused on his music back in 2006...we said that we were there all the way for him...we supported his music career and never look back!...I personally am proud to see him grown as an actor and a singer as well....n when finding out he was doing the KIS project...I said...Finally!!!He's giving back something fo his fans in Malaysia by personally being here and tell a Malaysian story as well a Pinoy story.Echo has really made us proud as well.
The story of Rocky and Garie has really brought joy to our lives...it was of course like a roller coaster but we enjoyed it nevertheless...:D...and oh yeah...hearing echo speaking in Bahasa Malaysia had me jumped for joy!!!I'm sure Malaysians will enjoy it also when they get to see KIS either this month or next month.
The story of Echo n Carmen...well...that's a different story all together...I know usually if echo is paired with any actress in a soap/movie...they will always be a story behind it.Being fresh from a broken relationship...people or may I say..the media in Pinas quick to link him to Carmen.Known for always being attracted to his co-stars...echo played a different card this time.He denies that he had fallen for Carmen and always defended that his relationship with Carmen is purely professional.However so...actions speaks louder than words echo!Whenever he's with Carmen...his face glow and he always blush everytime people tease him with Carmen.He's also suprisingly very2 energetic nowadays!He said that he was inspired!but by whom?he never did say but we do know that Carmen inspires him to work.In my opinion,Carmen is not his typical leading lady...as the result of having gone through soo much together and being foreign in each other home soil...they developed a ..what echo likes to call "A Special Friendship".They take care of each other when ever one of them will be away from home(echo in Malaysia n Carmen in Pinas).The time spend together I guess had made them very close.How close???well..time will tell.I for one am thrill to the idea that one day they will end up with each other but being realistic...I wouldn't want to speculate anything.Only they know their own feelings.
As for me...I'm still enjoying each day being a KISser and always support Echo n Carmen.Sana...both of them will find their true happiness...whatever or whomever it may be! :D

Updates of my Life....

The Last Day in Setapak High....

As the title gave it away..today..14 November 2008 is my last day in Setapak High School..Last week I found out that my application of transfer to my hometown in Melaka was successful. I had mix feelings just b4 I checked the result online...why mix n not happy...well I dunno..siguoro...I felt that as the time gets closer to the result...a lot of things started to happen..at least in my social life...I found my self closer to ana n hana n reezy..and not forgetting my new found friend rona....it's all because of KIS...What is KIS???I'll get into that later..

As you can see the last attempt to post a new entry was 4 months ago...I'm really bad at blogging aren't I...hehehe..anyways again..so many things happen in my last these last few months...a new school...a new house..new friends...new students...new environment...and the biggest news of all...I was pregnant but later miscarriage...that was 2 weeks ago...Alhamdulillah I'm getting better I guess..but emotionally...ermm after trying for more than 4 years...ermm I guess it was heartbreaking at first...but Alhamdulillah I have accepted the fact that it was not meant to be...or better word for it...it was not my rezeki!...Insyaallah..my time will come...Of course coping with all of this in a new environment was tough at first but alhamdullillah there are new friends who were willing to lend an ear and give comfort when I needed it the most..thanks a lot!!!I've been on and off medical leave for the last 2 weeks and Insyaallah yesterday would be my last..at least for this condition...they said looking after one self after a miscarriage is even crucial after giving birth...I guess they talk from experience but I guess I can only do what I can do diba....time will tell!

A Tribute to My Two Dads...
My day started normal...yesterday went out ngan Ana to meet up with Kish at his office..biasalah..talk abt echo n also a business opportunity...Ana finally pinjamkan dvd "My Father". A Korean movie starring Daniel Henney...I first saw his acting in the movie "Seducing Mr.Perfect".He was pretty good..can't wait to watch the movie..
I was in the kitchen when I heard the news that the legendary Indonesian actor Sophan Sophian passed away in an accident earlier today..I quickly rang up my mom to tell her the news but she already knew...I didn't really know what my feelings were.. but I did feel something...a sense of lost...u may wonder why but I felt as if I've lost a father I never knew.... again..U see...I lost my father when I was only a year old...I never knew him...n have only seen pictures of him...on top of that, my mom always told me...especially whenever there were a Sophan Sophian movie on tv..she would always say that.."tengok tu..abah berlakon".I then would cuddle up in front of the tv to watch the whole movie....It was unforgetable moments in my life...
Right after lunch,since nothing interesting was on tv so I decided to watch "My Father"...and after 2 hours..indulging in the moment...I cried....It was a powerful story n I'm glad I had the opportunity to experience the whole movie...

New Kids On The Block
For once, all the rumors are actually true.
“The Right Stuff” really is — at long last — returning to your block. Thankfully, this time, it’s all happening in the right way too.
New Kids On The Block — five now fully-grown men who forever defined what the modern boy band would look and sound like — are back together for the very first time in nearly a decade and a half, and currently hard at work on their first new album since 1994. That still untitled album should be released sometime this summer, preceded by the New Kid’s first new single since the Nineties, and followed in the fall by an already hotly anticipated international concert tour.
On a March afternoon, Jordan Knight, Jonathan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg and Danny Wood are gathered together, hanging tough all over again in a small Los Angeles studio looking a little older, but still youthful, fit and anxious to not simply celebrate their musical legacy, but also add something new and personally meaningful to it. In the late Eighties and early Nineties, while still teenagers themselves, New Kids on the Block became a phenomenon, selling over 70 million albums – including the back-to-back international number one efforts, 1988’s Hangin’ Tough and 1990’s Step By Step — and a series of crossover smash R&B, pop hits like “You Got It (The Right Stuff),” “Cover Girl,” “Didn’t I (Blow Your Mind This Time),” “Hangin’ Tough,” “I’ll Be Loving You,” “Step By Step” and “Tonight” — as well as countless number of concert tickets, t-shirts and even lunchboxes to primarily female kids around the world. Then under the guidance of producer Maurice Starr who had previously brought the world New Edition, the New Kids made a tremendous impact on the culture very quickly.
“I think history has looked upon us fondly,” say McIntyre. “I wouldn’t say we were important, but people do now see our place in pop history. We’ve read that we `begat the boy bands” like Backstreet Boys and N’Sync. And in a way, those groups have all made us more contemporary. They made us younger in a way by putting us in their generation. But hey, what about New Edition? There would be no New Kids without them. And of course, the Jackson Five begat New Edition. So I guess we were really just the first white boy band.”
These days, four of the five Kids have kids themselves, as well as assorted careers and lives of their own, and so their decision to reunite had been an adult if joyful one that they’ve taken very seriously. That’s why this time around – even with the assistance of a great new team including Interscope Records and the Azoff Management team, it’s the original Kids themselves who have taken charge of their own destiny with new music that they found and funded themselves.
“We’re not kids, we’re just the guys now,” Donnie Wahlberg says with a smile as he takes a break from the recording sessions that started this past winter and have taken on a momentum of its own this spring. Long the hold out from any sort of New Kids On The Block reunion, Wahlberg – who has enjoyed considerable success as a constantly working actor in the intervening years – has long made it clear that he had absolutely no interest in simply cashing in on the Kid’s good name. “We’ve had so many offers from so many people over the years, but I’ve always protected the asset,” he says. “We never sold the New Kids house to anyone. And until we got together in a recording studio in Orlando two months ago, I haven’t even been in the same room with these five guys for fifteen years.”
And this time, it’s the boys – make that, the men – in the group who are in charge.
“We took the initiative instead of going out and asking for help from a label or anyone,” McIntyre explains. “We just started recording because we wanted to and because we were ready. We started doing this from the ground up –just us.”
The brand new New Kids album was really sparked when Wahlberg was in New York for a costume fitting for the upcoming film Righteous Kill that finds him living out another life-long dream by acting in a film alongside two of his greatest heroes, Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino as well as 50 Cent. Finding himself around the block, Wahlberg visited the office of his longtime music lawyer who handed him a demo tape of a young singer-songwriter name Nazeree. Since the days of New Kids — and his time producing hits in the early Nineties for his brother Mark as Markey Mark and The Funky Bunch – Wahlberg has been handed a mountain of demos in his time and he took the offering with absolutely no expectations.
Putting the CD on while driving a few days later, Wahlberg heard two songs that spoke to him powerfully. “I got in the car in Boston on my birthday and I popped it in,” he recalls. “ The first song was called `Click, Click, Click’ and from the minute it started, it just grabbed me. I kept waiting for this kid to falter, but he never did. Not only that – I immediately recognized that Joey McIntryre is going to love this record, Jordan Knight is going to love this record and I love this record. The music speaks to all of our sensibilities, but they’re all totally different. It was hip-hop and honest enough for me. It was soulful enough for Jordan and pop and unselfish enough for Joe. It just had it all. I spent the next few hours driving up to girls at red lights and playing them the song. They said, `Is that your song? I said `Not yet.’”
After years of blocking any reunion, Wahlberg was suddenly energized and drove to Jordan Knight’s house that night and played him the songs, “I told him. `Jordan, this could be the moment right here.’ Jordan heard `Click, Click, Click’ and he loved it. Then I emailed them to Joe and the same reaction — and more importantly his wife cried. So I pulled out my checkbook and we started going.”
What had started was more like a mission than a comeback.
“See what I discovered is that the self-respect I have as an actor was hard to have in music,” Wahlberg explains. “Parts of what we went through were kind of prefabricated – though the whole New Kids machine only started once we got the ball rolling. It was grass roots before that. Maurice Starr was the guy behind our success, but we were in it from day one. So over the years, I’ve often thought I’d like to experience the group with that feeling of self-respect — instead of just the fame and hysteria, so it’s not about just getting something back, but about really doing something.”
In the months that followed, Wahlberg and the other Kids would collaborate closely with Nazaree, who turned out to be a New Kids fan since childhood, as well as other gifted producers and writers including Bryan-Michael Cox, Emanuel Kiriakou, RedOne and Fernando on an new album that blends the melodic soul of vintage New Kids with a decidedly contemporary, hip hop feel.
“Donnie was right,” McIntyre explains. “The new music we’re making reignited this whole thing so it’s not just cashing in on pure nostalgia for the old days.”
Of the group’s demise back in the mid-Nineties, McIntyre explains, “We were just fried. What happened to us in the span of a couple years was mind-blowing, and no one really knew what it was. We were learning as it went. A lot of groups today know the mold and plan accordingly. We didn’t start out with the idea that in two years we’d be playing stadiums. So by the end of our touring obligations in like 1992, we just want to go home. We had moved on and then music had totally moved on. Grunge happened. Rock and roll came back. We never slammed the door shut – we just sort of walked away. And at that point, we weren’t exactly going to hold a press conference because no one really cared.”
“It’s the thing about being in a boy band,” Wahlberg says. “In some ways we were much more in control than people could ever imagine back then. But in some ways, you can’t control anything.”
In the studio today, all five seem to be getting along and contributing something to the whole.
“I think the thing with us is that we always hung onto the fact that we were buddies first,” Joey McIntyre explains. “This wasn’t a cattle call or a reality show. The point is this wasn’t a business first. It’s wasn’t even a business second. This was a business last. And in the end, we stayed friends and didn’t judge each other two much, which could get frustrating. But the pay off for that is that almost 20 years later, we can get together, hang out and have fun. It’s different now, it’s a little more planned out and professional, but we’re still a bunch of guys who love doing this and want every show to be our best.”
Now that the five Kids are standing together and planning to hit the road with a new show, simply reviving the old hits isn’t enough. “No, I want this to be redemption — but not for us,” Wahlberg explains. “I want it to be redemption for the fans. I want them to feel entertained, to feel treated to something special. And I want them to be so satisfied by what they get that they’ll realize they weren’t crazy all those years ago — that they put their heart into the right place back then and that it was worth the wait to come back again.”
Make no mistake; the New Kids intend to play all the familiar hits – along with some brand new ones too. “Our old songs aren’t necessarily standards — they were pretty sweet — but it’s going to be fun in a live show. People come to hear that music, so we’re going to sing it with basically the same sound. We’re not doing a reggae version of our three biggest hits because when I see that, it pisses me off. Even I’m like `Spare me.’ We have something like ten top ten hits, which is amazing. So if we do those and five new songs, we’ll have a hell of a show. We will give the people what they want to hear.
So what will a New Kids On The Block concert look like in 2008?
“ We’re still young, we’re still hot,” McIntryre answers with a laugh. “Our fans are between 25 and 35 now because they were really young then. They’re still very attractive — and very legal. So it’s going to be a girls night out. I know my wife’s going to be there every step of the way, but it’s still going to be fun.”
Yes, the wait has been a long one, but it won’t be much longer now.
“The snowball is getting pretty big,” McIntrye adds as he and his four old friends get back to work. “And it’s heading down the mountain now.”

Echo+Carmen Malaysian Filipino Drama Project!

Jericho Rosales and Carmen Soo are to star in an international soap opera Co-produced by ABS-CBN and Double Vision, a Malaysian production group. The soap is dubbed as a love story that will captivate viewers in the tradition of Lobo, Maging Sino Ka Man, Pangako Sa'yo and Ysabella. Carmen Soo, a Malaysian superstar, started her film career in her small role in the Jackie Chan movie "Gorgeous" and an appearance in Asia's sensational singer Aaron Kwok’s music video.
Carmen Soo has shown her versatility since then, portraying diverse roles on stage like the musical " Rose Rose I Love You " and on screen where her movie "The Third Generation" earned her a Most Promising Actress Award in the 2006 Malaysian Film Festival.
Jericho Rosales is of course, one of Philippine’s finest actors. Jericho Rosales earned nominations from all the major award giving bodies for his role in the Manny Pacquiao biopic, " Pacquiao " , where Jericho Rosales played boxing champ Manny Pacquiao himself.
Carmen Soo and Jericho Rosales will tape for about two months in Malaysia and the Philippines beginning April 30. The yet untitled TV series is set to air on the Kapamilya network within 2008.
MANILA, Philippines—ABS-CBN has inked a co-production deal with Malaysian outfit Double Vision (DV) to produce a TV series starring Malaysian model-actress Carmen Soo and Filipino actor Jericho Rosales.
The series—working title “Malaysia”—will be directed by Gilbert Perez and will air daily for 10 weeks in the Philippines, and weekly for 26 weeks in Malaysia. Shooting starts on April 30.
Perez said the shoot in Malaysia will take two months. He added that the writing, directing and creative teams will be employed by ABS-CBN, “but Double Vision will be around to help us.”
ABS-CBN president Charo Santos-Concio said Rosales was the first choice for the project. “Jericho is one of the most popular TV stars in Malaysia because the soaps he has done have also been aired there,” Concio remarked during the contract signing with the Malaysian firm last week.
Rosales was 17 when he won a talent search in the noontime show “Eat … Bulaga!” in 1996. He became a member of ABS-CBN’s Star Circle Batch 4 and has since starred in several TV series, including “Pangako Sa’Yo,” which became a big hit in Malaysia and Cambodia.
Soo, 29, rose to fame also at age 17 after winning a talent search organized by the Malaysian magazine “Verve.”
Later she joined Starz People, a top modeling agency in Hong Kong. Soo appeared in the film “The Third Generation” and won the Most Promising Actress Award at the 2006 Malaysian Film Festival.
“I hope to get to know Jericho better. I promise to get him some spicy food when we get to Malaysia,” Soo told entertainment writers at the contract signing.

Jericho Rosales and Carmen Soo are to star in an international soap opera Co-produced by ABS-CBN and Double Vision, a Malaysian production group. The soap is dubbed as a love story that will captivate viewers in the tradition of Lobo, Maging Sino Ka Man, Pangako Sa'yo and Ysabella. Carmen Soo, a Malaysian superstar, started her film career in her small role in the Jackie Chan movie "Gorgeous" and an appearance in Asia's sensational singer Aaron Kwok’s music video.
Carmen Soo has shown her versatility since then, portraying diverse roles on stage like the musical " Rose Rose I Love You " and on screen where her movie "The Third Generation" earned her a Most Promising Actress Award in the 2006 Malaysian Film Festival.
Jericho Rosales is of course, one of Philippine’s finest actors. Jericho Rosales earned nominations from all the major award giving bodies for his role in the Manny Pacquiao biopic, " Pacquiao " , where Jericho Rosales played boxing champ Manny Pacquiao himself.

Gallardo Entertainment Editor Soo doesn’t look a bit like 29, and she didn’t have to think twice before divulging her real age to a select group of entertainment editors during a special luncheon tendered for her by ABS-CBN. It’s her second visit to Manila. “It was all work the first time I came over. For a few days, I was shooting for a fashion spread. I would love to visit your country’s beautiful attractions and I think that I might be able to do that when work starts for this exciting TV project, “ she said. The winner of a magazine cover girl search in Malaysia, Soo started taking the fashion pages of her country’s glossies by storm at 17, before becoming one of the most sought-after commercial models on television. The brown-eyed Soo, who is of Chinese-Malay-English descent, speaks very good English. “I hope to learn a few Philippine words and phrases,” she said. Soo was born and raised in Petaling Jaya, which is very near the capital Kuala Lumpur. She admits that she would’ve wanted to focus on ramp modeling had she been blessed with some more height. “I’m 5 feet 3 inches, and by any standards, that’s too short for a runway model.” Soo’s baptism of fire in acting came by way of a cameo role in the Jackie Chan movie “Gorgeous, “ shot in Hong Kong before the millennium. “I modeled in Hong Kong for almost four years and it was my second home. That was how I found myself acting for the Jackie Chan movie,” she said. Soo revealed she was bestowed the “most promising actress” award at the 2006 Malaysian Film Festival for the film “The Third Generation.” For the soon-to-start project, Soo says that instead of setting high expectations, she’d rather go with the flow and enjoy every workday. “Sometimes we pressure ourselves too much that we forget how it is to have fun and look at the bigger picture of things,” she said. She said she already met her Filipino leading man and had pretty good first impressions about Rosales. “With some people, you feel that there are walls that you need to get through before you actually open up, but with Jericho, he made me feel comfortable instantly.” Asked about her first impressions of the Philippines, she broke into a wide smile and said: “You have a lot of very handsome men here. And the people seem very warm and nice.” The producers of the venture have not zeroed in on a title yet, and airing won’t happen until the last quarter of the year. The series will be shown simultaneously in the Philippines and Malaysia. |
